Langenheim This aeromagnetic map of northwest Utah indicates the presence of substantial areas of Cenozoic volcanic rocks concealed beneath Cenozoic sediments and the Great Salt Lake. Other significant anomalies coincide with plutons of Jurassic to Cenozoic age and units within the Precambrian basement. The map serves as a basis for geophysical interpretations and supports geological mapping, water and mineral resource investigations
