Banded Obsidian Moons Rose Quartz (pink) Element: WaterObsidian is a dark, mysterious stone that is formed by rapidly cooling volcanic lava. It gets it's black color from it's high iron content, and it's structure is closer related to glass than a mineral or crystal. These moons are great for any kind of moon magick or ritual, especially for banishing and protective ceremonies. Specimens have grey banding, making them much more rare than traditional black obsidian, and some may show a dark silver glittery
