Montecalvo Falanghina, Benevento IGP POD showing orange blossom and bitterA Falanghina from Montecalvo, a large Campania co operative, grown in Benevento, the grape's heartland, on limestone and clay at 300 to 400 metres. Fermented in stainless steel without malolactic to keep it fresh. Lightly tropical, showing citrus and honeysuckle over ripe lemon, apple and a hint of pineapple and candied peel, with white spice and minerality to finish. A natural partner for aubergine parmigiana, gnocchi or a caprese salad. Country
