Chanson Pere et Fils, Meursault Perrieres Blanc Vintage:2010Soft notes of mineral reduction interweave with notes of spiced pear, acacia blossom and cool citrus zest hints. There is good richness but also good detail to the pure and mineral inflected flavors that are quite finely rendered before terminating in a balanced and long finish. There is a very slight touch of backend bitterness though my score assumes that this is due to some unabsorbed sulfur and thus will quickly dissipate. 91 2016+

The red 2009 Gran Reserva has some traces of classical Rioja and "old wine" character
