The Ninth Wave Size (Inches):30x45 ➤ Prints with a popOcean wave breaking on a calm morning. I photographed this image at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA, on a quiet winter morning. It got its title because in Celtic mythology, The Ninth Wave represents the border between the known and unknown worlds, a barrier that separates the real world from the other world. To go "beyond the ninth wave" was to go on a journey of discovery and mystery, and Ive always felt that there is something otherworldly
