It replaces the stock hoses which connect to the alloy inlet tube for the turbo. The silicone hose allows for a smoother airflow part to the turbo from the intake. It also features an internal step which is matched to the stock alloy tube and thus eliminates the exposed edge of the tube which is apparent when using other aftermarket silicone hoses.
