The bowl is stamped underneath with the standard Carlton Ware mark for the 1950s. The bowl has a star hairline on the base, not extending to the rim and has feint age related crazing. The tea cup has very feint crazing and both the cup and saucer have fading of the gold trim

Each tea spoon is handle-stamped Stainless Steel

it also has some age related crazing and spots of discolouration on the inside

Pastel green and grey highlight the center of the plate and spectacular floral arrangements with roses and forget-me-nots in bouquets are displayed around the verge
