The stand has a removable frosted glass liner dish with a starburst pattern underneath. The item was manufactured by Davis & Sons, Glasgow during the late 1800s. The stand is impressed underneath on one side EPNS and on the other D&S over G within a shield in the center of

The firm was established in 1865 by Absalom Wood and his son Thomas Francis Wood in Burslem

A few of the items have some fading of the gold trim
