Small Rare & Antique (Late 1800’s) Davis & Sons, Glasgow Silver Plated Pierced Dish With Removable Glass Liner CutleryThe item is a small rare and antique silver plated stand with a pierced metal lattice design along the sides, a pair of pierced metal gothic scroll handles and three tiny ball feet. The stand has a removable frosted glass liner dish with a starburst pattern underneath. The item was manufactured by Davis & Sons, Glasgow during the late 1800s. The stand is impressed underneath on one side EPNS and on the other D&S over G within a shield in the center of
The firm was established in 1865 by Absalom Wood and his son Thomas Francis Wood in Burslem
A few of the items have some fading of the gold trim

Both items have mild age related crazing
This item is a rectangular design Swedish tray / platter with an extended rim along the longitudinal sides
